    Mr. John B. Segars Passes to Beyond

    Mr. John B. Segars, age 30, died at the home in Tates Creek Community on Monday, March 23rd following an illness of more than three years.
    Mr. Segars was well and favorably known to a large circle of friends throughout the county. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was ever ready to do his best in promoting the interests of his church and community.
    Funeral services were held from the Tates Creek Church with Rev. Fuller officiating on Wednesday, March 25. Interment was in the Tates Creek Cemetery.
    He is survived by the following children; T.A. Segars, Ashland; O. B. Segars, Toccoa; W. J. Segars, Bowman; D. L. Segars, Royston; Mrs. F. L. Martin, Toccoa; Mrs. Maud Lane, Royston, 26 grandchildren and 23 great grand children also survived as well as a large number of other relatives. The family have sympathy of their friends in their bereavement.
    B.D. Ginn Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
