    Mrs. Lula Lewallen

    Commerce, GA - Mrs. Lula Segars Lewallen, 92, of BJC Nursing Home, widow of William Russell Lewallen, died Saturday at BJC Hospital.
    Born in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Mary Murry Segars. She was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.
    Surviving are sons, Horace, Jesse and Major B. Lewallen of Commerce, J. T. Lewallen of Clarkesville, William Lewallen of Smyrna; daughters, Mrs. Stig M. Stevens of Commerce, Mrs. Mary Howington of Monroe; 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren.
    Services at 2 p.m. Monday at Webbs Creek Baptist church by the Revs. Wyatt Gilbert and James Dumas. Burial in the church cemetery.
    The body is at Little-Ward Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The family is at the home of a son, Major B. Lewallen.
