    Ben Segars

    Commerce, GA - Isaac Bennett ( Ben ) Segars, 77, a retired farmer of Rt. 1, Commerce, died Friday morning in the BJC Hospital following an extended illness.
    He was born in Banks County, a son of the late Mason C. and Emma Rylee Segars. He spent all of his life in Banks county and was a member of the New Salem Methodist Church.
    His wife, Mrs. Anna Parks Segars, died March 13, 1963.
    Survivors; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Fitzpatrick of Ila., GA; three sons, William and Roy Segars of Rt. 1, Commerce, Bennie Frank Segars, of Miami, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, one brother, Hoyt P. Segars of Alpharetta, GA; seven sisters, Mrs. Lula Bowden of Rome, GA, Mrs. Florence Wood of Gillsville, Mrs. Frank Slaton and Mrs. Guy McDonald, of Jefferson, Mrs. Minnie Ruth Willoughby of Winder, Mrs. Hubert White of Atlanta and Mrs. Carson Poole of Athens.
    Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at New Salem Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Carden and the Rev. Max Whittemore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    The body, now at Little Ward Funeral Home, Will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The family is at the residence.
